Meet Your Instructor
Brandon Evans is a former firefighter who knows the weight of the job firsthand. After years on the front lines, he turned his focus to understanding how the fire service could get ahead of the mental toll that takes too many lives.
Through international research, including interviews with more than 100 fire chiefs representing over 1.3 million firefighters worldwide, Brandon gained a unique perspective on how the fire service addresses mental health. His work with departments across North America and abroad has shown the urgent need for prevention before reaction, and for training that makes mental readiness as much a priority as physical fitness or tactics.
